Free site visits and standard quotations
Our initial visit helps establish the scope, site conditions and budget direction for a prospective project within our service area. Standard construction quotations follow that visit and confirmation from both you and FN Building Projects that we would like to proceed towards working together, subject to agreeing the scope and price. This does not commit either party to the building work.
Quotations for a bond or home-loan application
These carry a non-refundable preparation fee. It covers the detailed quotation and agreed company credentials for your application. We explain and agree the fee before the site visit. Tell us what your lender requires so we can confirm the deliverables in writing. Preparing a quotation does not guarantee funding or acceptance by a lender.
If we agree to carry out the works subject to bond approval, and your bond is approved, the fee counts towards your deposit and is deducted from the amount payable for the works. If the application is declined, the fee remains payment for the quotation service provided. Paying for the quotation alone does not appoint us to build.
Fixed scope, allowances and changes
The quotation fixes the price for the agreed scope and stated allowances. Requested changes, hidden conditions or work outside that scope may require a variation. We explain the reason, price and effect on the programme and agree the variation in writing before carrying out the additional work.
The written quote should identify the work, materials or allowances, exclusions, VAT treatment, payment stages and intended programme. Ask us to clarify anything before accepting it.
Our separate free BOQ offer
An unpriced bill of quantities helps compare builders against the same measurable scope. Our free offer is for a clearly defined new extension or addition shown on complete drawings, which can be measured without a site visit or further scope decisions. Handover and aftercare
Our process includes a handover inspection, recorded snags and a 12-month workmanship guarantee, with a free follow-up inspection after 60 days. The contract records the applicable terms. These commitments supplement the rights that apply to your project.

Reviews are voluntary. A review, rating or recommendation is not a condition of a quotation, fee concession or building service.
